Gosport Ferry to Lift Spirits on Blue Monday with Free Coffee Giveaway

Commuters crossing Portsmouth Harbour from Gosport on Monday 19 January 2026 can expect a welcome boost as Gosport Ferry marks Blue Monday by giving away 100 free cups of coffee throughout the day served by The Daily Grind Coffee Van (opposite the ticket office at our Gosport Terminal).

The surprise giveaway will see passengers receive a complimentary coffee from the Daily Grind, simply by showing a valid Gosport Ferry ticket (including season tickets and multi trip tickets). The initiative is designed to brighten what is often considered the gloomiest day of the year and to thank customers for travelling with the ferry service.

The free coffees will be handed out at various times across the day, so passengers are encouraged to keep their tickets handy. It’s a small gesture aimed at spreading warmth, smiles and a little extra energy on the morning and evening commute.

The small print:  Valid only on regular sizes of flat whites, cappuccinos, lattes, Americanos and hot chocolates.  All other drinks (including tea) are excluded.  Complimentary drink only on production of a valid Gosport Ferry ticket.  Limited to a 100 free drinks which will be handed out randomly across the day from 7am until stocks run out, and subject to availability.
